I Can

What do you want to achieve in your life? For now, I just want to graduate as fast as I can and achieve good marks. But, to reach my goal I need to do my obligation now as a student. Lately, I got some laziness struck. I cannot do my homeworks as usual. I prefer to play games on my computer than make my homeworks. But, today I saw a commercial that made my motivation to learn comeback.

Nike commercial brake gave me some inspiration. In Nike commercial brake, there is Christiano Ronaldo, Roger Federer, Maria Sarapova, etc. They are athletes from different sport affiliates. Their hardwork to practice regularly are not dissapointed, they are the best in the sport they occupy. They inspired me to work harder to achieved what I want. All hard work need sacrifice and it will produce something. I can do it too. I can reduce my play time for make my homeworks and for study. I must have strong will to do my homework even playing games are strong temptation. I can endure my desire to play.

Some lesson that I learned from Nike commercial is hardwork. Hardwork is needed to achieve something. I need to sacrifice time to play for study and make my homeworks. I must have strong will to keep my promise to study hard because I cannot make it if I do not have strong will. Life is a choice and if I want to succeed, I have to try my best to achieved the best.

Rumpelstiltskin

Have you ever heard a story named Rumpelstiltskin? It is a story about a miller’s daughter who can spin straw into gold with help from a manikin (little man/dwarf). I like this story because I am not just reading it for fun, but I can learn something from this story.

I learn some lessons from this story. This story began with falsehood. The miller lied to the king that his daughter could spin straw into gold. I think it is not good to lie, because lies always bring another lies to cover the previous lies. In the middle of the story, it was said that the miller’s daughter were helped by the manikin because she gave something in return. When she could not gave him anything in return, the manikin asked her first child as the subtitute of his work. The miller’s daughter agreed to the manikin request. I think before we promised something, we need to think first before take the decision. Another lesson I learned is to remember what we have promised to someone else.

From Rumpelstiltskin story, I can learn that I have to be honest to other. Even sometimes honesty makes troubles, but it is better than lies. Other than honesty, I learn about promised to someone is need a responsibility to fulfill it.

Learn To Be a Better Person

Have you ever admired someone that inspired you in your life? I have one person in my mind. He is Leeteuk, the leader of Super Junior, South Korea boy band. He is inspired me in many ways to be a better person in my life.

Leeteuk has many talents that inspired me. I admired his hardworking because to become a singer, dancer, MC, radio and television host are not easy. I felt nervous when I have presentation, even it just in front of few people. Now, you can imagine how brave he is, to work in front of a lot of people. It needs a lot of time and hardworking to achieve what he got now. As the leader of Super Junior, he got the responsibility of all members. He must understand the differences and tried to unite them all. He knows the problem in his group members. I think that is one the important point that a leader should have, because it is very helpful in organizing the team and will work optimally. He inspired me that as a leader not only leadership you needed, but the understanding between the leader and the members of the group. Besides that, I like Leeteuk’s attitude. He is polite to other people. I think attitude is needed when you are working with other people.

From Leeteuk’s biography, I can learn that to achieve something it is not easy, I need to work hard to achieve that. Beside hard work, I have to have good attitude. I need to learn more to be a better person in the future.
